Purchase a Universal or Unique Watermark Overlay

Our levels of service come with two different products to use in your media.

Our basic tier gives you the right to use our watermark overlay that contains a common set of MyHumanWatermark created values. While this tier isn't unique for you, it is still a watermark from a third party you purchased. For this tier, MyHumanWatermark will not be able to respond to requests in confirming purchase or what watermark specifications belong to you. Ensure to keep your valid proof of purchase.

Our medium and higher tiers require a unique set of MyHumanWatermark values to be developed and assigned. This now has proof of purchase from a third party and a unique watermark created for just you. Furthermore, MyHumanWatermark will respond to requests of what was purchased, when it was purchased and for Signature Tier +, watermark design information if needed by our customer.

Use Your Assigned Watermark in any Video, Image or Other Media Types You See Fit

Note: We keep our usage terms simple and creator-friendly. See our Buy page for full license details! For our basic tier, you are even allowed to keep using it past the term noted in your proof of purchase (we will at times though update our basic tier of created watermark values, noted in our "Buy" section).

The watermark will be provided in one 4:3 aspect ratio and one 16:9 aspect ratio design. The file types are .svg (Scalable Vector Graphic) & .ai (Adobe Illustrator Artwork) formats.

Also included is our getting started guide and a method of using .html along with .svg to use it as a overlay in OBS Studio for live streaming applications.

Research and Consult Remedies to be Prepared if your Content is Ever "Deepfaked"

Areas to Research:

Content Authentication - Content authentication is the legal and technical process of verifying that a piece of digital media is genuine and unaltered. Your purchased watermark may support content authentication efforts — if a deepfake is suspected, the presence, absence, or alteration of a watermark could serve as relevant evidence when working with legal counsel to challenge fraudulent content.

License Agreement (Terms of Service) - A license agreement is the legal contract between MyHumanWatermark & our customers that defines how a watermark product may be used, who holds rights to the watermark design (especially for custom tiers), and what terms apply.

Intellectual Property (IP) - Intellectual property refers to legal rights granted to creators over their original works, including images and video content. When someone uses a watermark, they are asserting their IP rights over that content — and a visible marker of ownership can strengthen their position should they choose to pursue legal action against unauthorized use or deepfake manipulation.

Digital Watermark (Forensic Marker) - A digital watermark is legally defined as information embedded into digital media — audio, video, or images — that travels with the content if it is copied. For higher-tier customers with unique watermarks, this creates a forensic marker that may help trace the origin of leaked or manipulated content, potentially supporting legal action if theft or deepfake activity is suspected.

Copyright Infringement - Copyright infringement occurs when someone reproduces, distributes, or alters copyrighted content without the owner’s permission. Your watermark serves as a deterrent and potential evidence tool — if someone removes or crops it to steal content, the owner may have grounds to pursue a copyright claim in the appropriate court(s).
